Terms of Use

Effective October 15, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ashwani Sud (“we”, “us”) about using the MayBee app (“MayBee”). By using MayBee you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

Who can use MayBee

A parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 sets up a family and is responsible for it. Kids use MayBee only as part of a family a grown-up created, with that grown-up's permission. If you set up a family, you confirm you have the right to add each person in it, including kids.

What MayBee is, and isn't

MayBee helps a family ask, discuss and answer requests, and keep track of chores and coins. It's a communication tool. It doesn't supervise, locate or protect anyone, and decisions about your kids are always yours. Notifications can be delayed or missed (for example when a phone is offline or notifications are off), so don't rely on MayBee for anything urgent or safety-related.

Coins in MayBee are a family's own bookkeeping. They have no cash value from us, can't be bought or sold, and any money a family attaches to them is between the members of that family.

Your family's content

You own what your family puts in MayBee. You give us permission to store it, sync it to your family's devices and process it only to run MayBee for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you add, and you agree not to use MayBee to harass anyone, share anything illegal or harmful, or upload photos that aren't appropriate for a family.

Devices and access

Each phone or iPad joins as one person in a family, using a personal invite or with a grown-up's approval. Keep invites to people you trust. You agree not to interfere with MayBee, get around its rules (for example what kids can and can't do), or access another family's information.

Family Pro and payments

Ending use

You can stop using MayBee at any time, and a grown-up can delete the family and its data from the Family tab. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken, or stop offering MayBee with reasonable notice where we can.

Disclaimers

MayBee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that MayBee will be uninterrupted, error-free or always deliver notifications.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions made using MayBee. Our total liability for any claim about MayBee is limited to the amount you paid us for MayBee in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use MayBee afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
